KRIS.P.R

Kris Peterson didn’t need enhancements. As a second-generation Edit, his genes were already perfect – a rare anomaly in a world where augmentation can define power. A cop in the neon-drenched sprawl of Manchester, he enforced the laws that kept Tech-Heads in check and Edit superiority unquestioned.

Until the night he wakes up with an illegal military-grade augmentation grafted into his face, a reinforced right arm, and no memory of how they got there.

Now, he’s a fugitive. His own department has flagged him as compromised. The Edits see him as an abomination. The corporations controlling augmentation tech? They want him under their control.

Hunted by Unit 77, a rogue mercenary with ties to black-site genetic experimentation, Kris is forced into the underworld. There, he meets again with Aimee-3, a twelve-year-old escapee from a blacksite facility, a living ghost with gene mods worth a fortune. The corp would burn the city to reclaim her.

Kris’s only way forward, and his only way to survive, is to navigate the war between the Edits, the Tech-Heads, and a rising underground movement known as the Reli’s. They see augmentation as neither divine ascension nor damnation – just a path to their continued survival.

In a world where flesh is obsolete, the Temple whispers with God-like ambition, and faith is just another form of control, humanity’s next step isn’t a choice – it’s war.

Aimee-3

Spliced with stolen genes and discarded by the program that made her, Aimee vanishes into the underground. There, beneath a city stitched with charged wire and TechRot, she finds shelter among those who still whisper of miracles. But safety demands surrender, and something inside her is stirring.

Kris Peterson was designed to enforce. Now he’s hunted by the very system he once served. Taken in by the Deus Vanguard, he’s pushed to his limits, physically, mentally, and morally. As ghosts of the past close in and the mission begins to splinter, Kris must choose what kind of weapon he’s willing to become.

Across the drowned carcass of Manchester, the lost are surfacing. Lines are drawn. Powers long buried begin to wake.

In the dark, a moment is coming when revelation, violence, and salvation will collide.

The battle has been won. But the war is only beginning.

Perfect for fans of Blade Runner, Neuromancer, and Altered Carbon, Ex Cinere is a brutal, cerebral journey through biotech, belief, and becoming.

404 User Not Found

John Jericho watches his daughter stream every night.

Casey doesn’t know he is there. To everyone else, he is Mod_47: another username passing through the chat. He filters threats, studies her tactics and keeps the distance she demanded seven years ago.

Then Casey vanishes during a global gaming tournament, along with forty-nine other streamers.

The internet calls it a publicity stunt. Sponsors pile in. Millions pay to watch the launch of a neural gaming experience unlike anything seen before.

John recognises an abduction when he sees one.

Casey wakes inside a combat environment that feels entirely real. Pain carries. Death may follow. Her squad must survive a succession of scenarios while Praxis sells their fear, loyalty and grief to a growing audience. Every decision feeds the system running the experience.

Outside, John follows a trail through data centres, shell companies and facilities erased from public record. Praxis knows he is coming. His attempt to rescue Casey may already be part of the programme.

Meanwhile, the audience keeps growing.

Something inside the system is watching too.

404 User Not Found is a completed cyberpunk GameLit thriller. New chapters released daily.
